CNC Machined Kydex Cheek Rest with a Hand Crafted touch – I use .125″ High Quality Kydex not inferior grades. Edges are rounded & then hand buffed so there are no sharp corners, Very Smooth.
Cheek Rests help in providing superior accuracy by putting your eye exactly where it needs to be, just like Archery you need an anchor point.

- IMAGE INFUSED KYDEX: Works on Colored Kydex By Infusing the Image into the pores of the Kydex material permanently. This process does not print the color White. The Base Kydex color shows through where there is no image:
- For example on the Blue Line Flag, the strips are Steel Grey colored just as the Steel Grey Kydex material.
- Will not work on Black Kydex~!
- Flags/Patriotic can be Infused on any Kydex Color – The Kydex Color you choose Will show through any white spaces on the image as it doesn’t print the color White.

Matthew. Seriously. I’m astounded Magpul hasn’t thought of this. It is infuriating how few adjustable carbine stocks have adjustable cheek risers. The clamp on risers cost almost 25$ a piece. The carbine stocks that DO have adjustable cheek risers are absolute garbage, or are in the 300$ price range.
Your cheek riser is fan-fucking-tastic. I had my doubts as I’ve messed with 3d printing/prototyping before, but I can see now how rigid the system you use to mount the tightening screws. I installed mine in about 3 minutes. It adjusts 1″ up and down and goes flush with the receiver as advertised. It It also makes my stock look a lot sleeker/cooler, which is something most cheek risers don’t do. The mechanism locks down very tight. I cannot move it at all even in the 1″ position unless I were to literally slam my fist down on it full force. I ran this stock with my AK SBR in a few matches and range trips/drills, which I use a mix of an EXPS3, a flush to receiver LVPO, and irons. Having the ability to throw an allen key in my grip module and change cheek weld on the fly is a godsend. I also tried this stock/riser out with my 10/22 MDT chassis, and my 1.93″ lvpo competition AR just for fun. In each instance I was able to get the riser to be right where I wanted it to be, lock it down, and get to work. I’m very confident that this cheek riser would hold up to ~most~ of the punishment I have seen rifles get from my deployments with the USMC.
My only suggestion, would be to potentially add some sort of rubberized surface behind the tightening screw clamps to have a little more grab and require less torque. I also heated my kydex up and bent it inwards very slightly and it improved the rigidity a little bit as well. But neither were needed for proper function. I know your probably still prototyping this for a custom request but I would be ecstatic if you were eventually able to source proper tightening knobs and injection mold the adapter pieces.
In closing I think that this riser is awesome. Not only is it easily adjustable, cost efficient compared to other solutions, compatible with the most common stocks out there, but it also gives you that super nice wide surface you see on SOPMOD stocks which I have not seen many cheek risers be able to offer.
If you have a CTR stock and $50 lying around buy this thing. You wont regret it. If you are looking for an adjustable cheek riser for literally ANY carbine that accepts a CTR stock. This is the one you want to get.

This is hands down the best addition I’ve made to my home defense AR9. My sight is on a 1.93” mount which causes my cheek weld to be less than I’d like. This cheek riser solved the problem. I’m building my first AR-15 and ordered a Magpul MOE SL stock, but I think I’m going to throw that in the closet and order another CTR + cheek riser. It’s that good.
Build quality is top notch. This thing does not move once you tighten + loctite the screws

This is a game changer. I added this to my gen 2 ace and I am finally able to enjoy the optic I purchased without trying to float my face above the fixed cheek riser. 10 out of 10 would recommend! Only thing that would make it better is an interlocking interface so that it doesn’t shift when bumped pretty hard.

Well I can confirm it to you, the cheek riser fits perfectly on my MOE stock.
The “fault” of the MOE stock is that it has too much play (this is why the stock CTR was made) but with the addition of the cheek riser fixing inserts the play is reduced .
